Welcome to Equal Treatment Maryland
Equal Treatment Maryland is a coordinated effort to educate candidates for office about the rising demand for mental health and substance use care. The campaign will seek commitments from candidates for office to ensure all Marylanders have access to quality behavioral health care when and where needed.
Our success depends on Marylanders from across the state standing up and speaking with one voice to demand Equal Treatment for our friends and loved ones living with mental health and substance use disorders.

Attend a Candidate Event
Our Action Center has all the details on where candidates will be throughout Maryland. Spread the word at an event and be sure to tell us how it went through the post-event survey.
